Aurora

Aurora is Calgary’s next-generation mixed-use neighbourhood, emerging from the legacy Aurora Business Park. Positioned just northwest of the airport, this thoughtfully planned area will ultimately offer a vibrant blend of residential living, employment, transit connections, parks, and community gathering spaces.

The area is undergoing a sweeping transformation guided by the new Naato’siyinnipi Area Structure Plan. Over the coming decades, it anticipates up to 7,300 new homes, 5,700 jobs, and significant investment in transit, green spaces, and cultural infrastructure. With nearly 40% of the land set aside for environmental reserves, it offers both sustainable and community-forward urban design.
